Cookie policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This explains which cookies and local storage JAAR uses and why. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, or third-party analytics tools.
1. What they are
Cookies and local storage are small files or data that your browser keeps so a website works or remembers your preferences.
2. What we use
Website (postjaar.com)
The public website does not set cookies of its own. Our network provider (Cloudflare) may use technical security cookies to protect the site from malicious traffic.
Application (app.postjaar.com)
The application uses strictly necessary local storage:
- Session: your session identifier, so you do not have to log in on every page.
- Preferences: language, theme (light or dark), visual ambience and your choice on this cookie notice.
- Drafts: a temporary copy of an email you are writing, so it is not lost if the window closes.
Third-party services
- Stripe, only on the payment page: Stripe's own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud.
- Google and Microsoft, only on their pages when you connect your account: those services' own cookies.
3. Legal basis
All of the above is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, so it does not require your consent (art. 22.2 LSSI). We still inform you through the notice shown when you open the application.
4. How to manage them
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you do, you will have to log in again and the application may not work properly.
